The Monday Trench Event
Information: So as many of you know, the community is a bit divided over 4thGren Monday Event, and linebattles are getting a bit old, So I wanted to create an outlet for a new event, while also keeping Monday as alive as possible. Let me preface this by saying I don't care how many people show up to this event, as long as one other regiment comes to this event I will continue to host it. Should this event get popular, I will upgrade the size of the server to adjust to the amount of people. Info will be handed out at 7:45pm est approximately, and I will accept any custom trench maps people send to me. The first event will be Monday the 24th while I continue to iron out the rules, get admins, and maps. Once specialties are in, sign up on sunday 7pm est on this forum. Gamemode will be battle, but if regiments post on this forum that they want different gamemodes, then Capture the Flag is a viable option. Event info ts: 199.60.101.245:10326
Rules: In the area between spawn and the first trench, people must stay in standard line formation. Inside the trench, regiments may spread their men out by 3 man spacing. FOC will be allowed in the trench to simulate actual WW1 trench combat, but ROC is slayable. Regiments may also split themselves into groups in order to cover the whole trench line. Inside the tunnels, 3 man spacing is allowed with a minimum of 3 people inside, and FOC will be allowed. Inside no mans land, minimum of 3 people with a maximum spacing of 5. FOC will be allowed in no mans land, but if 5 man spacing is breached, admins will slay for FOL, ROL, and ROC. Buildings will have general garrison rules, and ruins inside no mans land have the applied no mans land rules. If your regiment has 5-9 people you may attach 1 skirmisher. If your regiment has 10 or more, you may have 2 skirmishers. As the event grows, artillery specialties will be allowed, but for now we are sticking to line and attached skirmishers. *Rules are subject to change or additions as the event continues*
