I'm sure this was bought up before, maybe even by me, but my memory is quite in the shits. Whichever, is it at all feasible to make the allowed profile picture size bigger? On FSE, we only get 120x120px, while a forum like Taleworlds gets 150x200px, and Paradox Plaza's permitted avatars may go even bigger, at least horizontally. I'm aware it would apparently run into some issues with clipping into the thread or whatever, but I don't quite see how, given that there's a full 65 pixels between my avatar alone (which is the widest I could find--same as most peoples) and the start of every post. I think the primary concern would be the squareness and limitation of the avatars, which leads to some quite honest, shabby looking pics. I've spent some more time on both the TW and the PP forums and it really made me realize how limited FSE gets.
I somehow recall when the site just went up years back in early-mid November 2012 that there was a limit to the usable characters for nicknames and after I asked about it, Olafson(?) increased the char. count, and if I'm not mistaken, it was expanded to the point that like 1% of people still have a problem, but likely because they're trying to pack two full tags from two different regiments into it. Regardless, can't this also be done towards avatars? Maybe it's just my own preference, but with a game like BCoF coming out in the next whenever, and with a few popular mods being hosted here, the forum should even more so look the part. And I strongly feel that also comes down to the users' capability, and the lack of limitation bought on by the site.
