And Tired, you bring up an excellent point on the pistol. I think I can agree to that, along with the other admins. But respectfully will discuss that with them. Calvary in generally is hard to find the perfect set of rules for everyone's taste. But thank you for the feedback!
Also, we are indeed looking for nice balanced linebattle events. So expect next Thursday to have some good custom maps. Still feeling around what people generally want but I have a few maps that could benefit all the specialties.
As for signups, I think we are just going to change it to were we allow specialty to be signed up in the channels. Simply responding when the admins state if any regiment volunteer for artillery, skirmishers, etc. Application to this event will have "preferred role", to indicate to the admins which regiment is prone to take those slots. Last note, the regiments that have attended are welcome to apply for admin. We like to have other regiments play a direct role in the events. Helps the Event Admin, and just better to communicate.
