The 19e Régiment d'infanterie existed since 1597, but we will rather focus on its main battles in the French Revolution and the First Empire.

In 1809 it participated in the Battle of Wagrame against the Austrians, he also takes part in the Battle of Bérizina.
The 19th participated on October 16-19 at the Battle of Leipzig, and the Campaign for France where he participated in the Battle of Brienne and the battle Battle of Montereau.
