FPS Problems
« on: August 21, 2013, 09:50:22 am »
I can run the Mount & Blade usually at 120 FPS Max settings with my GTX 660
but for some reason I've been getting 20FPS only I've tried uninstalling and Re-Installing and that hasn't done anything.
anyone have a good suggestion?

Other Games are fine

Well, I am just going to throw some shit in here. I am not even sure it's going to help.

Don't hate if it's bullshit.

De fragmentate your hard drive (It's handy anyway)
See if there was a graphics card update.
Delete all mods for M&B Warband, except NW.
When playing, close all programs that use excessive bandwith or internet:
Skype, Spotify, Utorrent, like that.

Hope this helps.

FPS has nothing to do with ping, defragmenting rarely helps in any significance. What do you run your graphics on?

If the aforementioned options don't help, I'd recommend going to

https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/index.php?board=26.0

which is the technical support thread. If the solutions here don't work, you might be able to find some there.

Definately check your graphic cards driver. Either it's outdated, or you can try to roll back until version 301.42

Maybe this does help in this case http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,257003.msg6369816.html#msg6369816

Also dont put your max fps on 120, it will make your game stutter.

If anyone else has problems I can suggest turning off bodies and ragdolls they really aren't essential to the game and help a bunch
