I have a Gateway desktop and an Asus laptop. To be honest I could care less about the brand, it's what's inside that counts.

Alienware is horribly overpriced =P

For laptops, I prefer Asus, though, if I would get a Desktop, I would certainly get it custimised

Don't remember the exact specs for the other parts

That's generally what macs are for, it'd help if they had a proper mouse with them though.

Except there isn't a better standard of editing software. And even if there was it's not worth paying $500 extra for the exact same specs that you could get in a PC.

Currently got a Medion DT since my former laptop died. Been quite happy with it and recomment one for people looking for a cheap PC.

Also currently building my first custom one, so woo. Will put specs up later ^^
