On the topic of guerrillas, if I'm not mistaken didn't most guerrillas just form volunteer regiments and fight the normal way, with the guerrilla tactics being used on occassion. So really they would just be a militia unit like partizans, you wouldnt be allowed to ever use guerrilla tactics in a linebattle either way.

The Netherlands ofcourse.
Sweden, mhh Idk, it would probably be my 2nd choice. Spain wasn't between 1812-1815 but I beleave around 1807 and the Dutch fought at waterloo, I am Dutch and the Dutch are easy to make. They look like the British but then blue.

Why aren't the American's on the list? The American's single-handedly won the Battle of Waterloo for the Allies, as they did win both World Wars for the allies as well.

You really can't take any criticism, can you?

Indeed. Anyway, adding an entire nation just because you want to skirmish with old weapons and spears seems rather pointless. We've got Partizani, don't we?  :P

Guerrilla fighting was mainly raiding, Sabotages and ambushes ... Skirmishers are perfect for this task in a line battle, the same for cavalry. The fact of the matter is no unit or group small enough to deliver Guerrilla fighting undected would ever fight the normal way, because of their size and the advantages it offered.

Don't think of Guerrilla forces like you see in "The Patriot", the best way to think of them would be more like the partizan groups of Bielski, fighting more for their own survival and from persecution than say any strategic or military purpose. Partizan and Militia groups only form in times of dire needs, they use Guerrilla warefare as a means of their survival.

Of course, I also think lines should be able to move in double rank without having emotional breakdowns.

I fear his sarcasm meter may be broken...

Duchy of Warsaw
I'd love them, but that's probably my Polish blood speaking. :P The Poles are already pretty well represented, and there are more important factions missing.

Guerrillas would just be a reskinned partizani/opolchenie, and I don't know what's so exciting about guerrillas in NW, you would never be allowed to use guerrilla tactics in a linebattle and they would be just like the partizani. They're the same exact thing after all.

Merriam Webster definition of a Partisan:
a member of a guerrilla band operating within enemy lines

Guerrillas wouldn't be anything new and the charm would wear off just like it did with opolchenie. Why add an entire new faction just for a single class that you'll get tired of using eventually.

But why would it  be any different for any other nation? They'll just get boring quickly as well when people just realise they are a reskin of those nations already in the game

So then at least add classes that people will actually use often. It's not often that I see lines of partisans. Maybe opolchenie sometimes but only because they get muskets.
