Hey guys,

Just figured I might as well post the explanation I gave to Thundersnow via Steam. We recently added enterprise-level DDoS protection to our Dallas, TX location which results in further re-routing of connections. This means that there are "more hoops" for you to jump through when you are connecting to and playing on a server in our Dallas, TX location. Depending on your internet service provider (comcast, at&t, etc.), latency can be anywhere between 25-35ms higher than what it would be on a normal IP address.

We can move the server to Chicago (where it was originally) based on what Thundersnow would like to do or what the majority of the attendees would like to do.
