New version notes

Spoiler

New features

Added an entire new faction: Ptolemaic Egyptian faction.
Added fire javelins to some units.
Added Praetorian guard unit to Romans.
Added many new Greek helmets, made by Admiral!
Improved the look of Roman auxiliaries.
Added many new maps.
Tons of new props like Pyramids, Palms and more!
Added plebs to Romans.
Added navy captains to Roman marines.
First player legions added.

Changes

Reduced agility on all units to reduce "dancing" style combat and encourage formations.
Added weights to armor.
Matched officer speed with that of rankers.
Reduced damage of all bows.
Extremely slight buff to fire arrows to make them at least worth using.
Nerfed kopis damage.
Rescaled commander battle troop numbers, weaker units now get more troops.
Rebalanced Assassins, now the assassin is weak, but his weapon is strong, and it cannot be picked up if dropped, and has a penalty with a shield.
Reduced chance of spear bouncing when stabbing.

Instructions:

1) Download the setup file

    1a) If you have played Bello Civili before, make sure you deleted your old "Bello Civili" folder, located in your Mount&Blade Warband/Module folder
    1b) run the setup file!

2) Choose your correct Mount&Blade Warband/Module folder. The correct install path would be [...]Mount&Blade Warband/Module/Bello Civili

3) Enjoy the mod!


If you want to play the new version, please join the official server, which runs the updated version!

Alright, so i really want this mod but im having trouble installing.

 I bought M&B with, The Gamestop App and when it asks what folder i want to install it to in the installer i can find which file to install it into, Any help?

It is there for everyone else. You don't need to open everything, just extract the downloaded file. If you're extracting into your BC module you won't see it as it merges with every other file, just start your game and it should have the new things.

When I open the installer it says: "This mod requires the Napoleonic Wars expansion for warband"
But I already have the napoleonic and still cannot install, can you help me?

If you have problems with your NW key (NW is not installed), please do the following:

Spoiler
- Right click on Mount & Blade: Warband on steam and select view CD key.
Copy the Napoleonic Wars serial code or keep it open.

- Click Start > Run
- Enter regedit, right click to open with administrative rights
- A new window will open, browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > MountAndBladeWarbandKeys
- Search the entry, serial_key_nw,
- If it doesent exist, make a string value with that name and enter your cd key there.
- make sure that the value is the same as your CD key. Also make sure that the key is separated correctly. Double click the entry and modify it until it is correct. Watch out for invisible spaces in the CD key.
- If you are done with that, close the Registry Window and start the installer, and have fun playing!

Looks like something similar as I had. Check in your last version, (if you haven't deleted it already) for that file and copy paste it in the texture folder of the patch module.

If I am not mistaken that should fix it. Could be terribly wrong though.

Looks like something similar as I had. Check in your last version, (if you haven't deleted it already) for that file and copy paste it in the texture folder of the patch module.

You're all trying to join servers running the old version. I don't know why server hosts are taking so long to update..

Bug your legions, bug your server hosts, bug whoever you can, get them to update the servers. It's quite surprising that given theres new content out for this mod, the servers are taking so long to update.

The server you joined hasn't updated, but I'm being told that the official BC server has been finally updated, try joining that one.  8)

Of course it is. People realized there are many more, better, Roman era mods for regular Warband... I didn't really understand this project, tbh... But, at least it gave people their month of excitement. There may be an event or two, so you could check for those...

There aren't, none of them have any of the features of BC, and they're all half incomplete and also dead. They don't have the unit variety of variation or balanced and historical stats of BC. Gokillers Roman mod he's making is the only one with promise.

Every OSP from warband in BC was heavily tweaked and worked on. Most people stick them directly in, we weren't happy with that.

Rgcotl your 3d work is amazing but RaW seems to be lacking on the code side.

Of course RaW lacks code work, we didn't have NW as a base. Most of the new stuff done for RaW was done BY us, to me, besides the animations, this feels like NW.

SP is fairly new, and added pretty much for fun as far as I understand. The primary focus for us at the moment is working on MP, which is still in heavy development.
