About 4e's defeat: only thing anybody reasonable can say is - ABOUT TIME! And it doesn't come from negative feelings towards them but simply from awareness that such long dominance and constant win streak isn't healthy for the game. If some guys can be active for months and remain undefeated, it means they're damn good. But if it's lasting YEARS, then there's something wrong with the community, it's stagnant. A group of veterans turning unapproachable and standing above the rest is clearly a symptom of any dead game/community. Their loss is what NW and - dare I say - 4e itself needed.

I agree with you on this one Rasti, but I wouldn't say it's a symptom but more of a consequence.
People chose to regroup in regiment composed only of veterans in order to become the best of the best and later on, well, defeat the 4e who has actually achieved that and has became the final boss.
The problem is, all new average/good players or veterans are stacking now themselves in L1 regiments hoping that it'll be easier to win.
Now after 3 years we can see it kinda work for one and almost for some others, but was it really worth it on an overall community pov?
L1 - L2 have such a skill gap now, and L2 is mostly stagnant as the low tier of L1 is slowly starting to stagnate too.
Anyway, congrats again to everyone who fought this year, I hope next edition (if there is one) will definitly break the competitive scene!

I don‘t actually want to use the CNWL thread as a plattform since it‘s not linked to my concern directly, even though I‘m pretty sure that it is somehow, but fuck it, it just pisses me off...

Today we found out, that apparently, a part of the regiment is banned from the Cavalry Groupfighting server, which we use daily to set us up for the CNWL.
Log-banned of course, without any reasoning or message to any of our CO‘s or enlisted.
It‘s sad that the Nr.6, which etablished itself over years and years even against the harshest resistance in many parts of this community, is still victim of such childish actions by some people that try to damage us in any way possible. People who don‘t even have the courage to explain their actions that affect dozens of players.

This is not the first time, the Nr.6 as a whole gets banned. Therefore especially I thought we were done with that bullshit.

We at least want an offical statement what the thoughts behind their actions were. Anything that helps us to actually understand why so many Nr.6 members were banned!

Stephan got also log-banned for "Offensive Language" lol
Which is quite a paradox, it only takes a few minutes to see that "offensive language" is a common thing on CavGF.
As you said, must be under the command of someone (or many) who apparently has quite a boring life unfortunately.
Anyway as I said to Stephan, a luck we have more than one cav gf
