How could anarchy be the best. Think about it, no public schools, no law or judges and courts to back the law, the place would be a mess with havoc. People would be robbing other people, vigilantes would pop up and just start their own government. Communism will probably always have extreme censorship of books, television, internet, magazines and newspaper, even posters outside.

Personally, I believe socialism is the way to go. However, not state socialism, like communism. I have really been looking at libertarian Socialism, and that seems like a good way to go for my personal beliefs. I really am new to socio-ecenomics though as I cant take Government/Economics classes until next year. I would like to hear people's opinions on this.

Read Bakounine and you'll see the right sense of Anarchy !

Don't talk about things you don't understand !
For communism I'll let you read Marx and the basic ideologies of the communism and not about the USSR which was a mess ,I accord it to you

I'm probably biased by my nation of origin, but I favor socialism, with just enough capitalism to keep things running.

Then again, which is the best system is very relative. Best at what? Best for the people? Best for the nation? Best at getting things done?

Communism had the chance to be the best but it got corrupted and didn't go as they planned.

Aaaaaaaaand that's why we should leave that idea ;)

I am no fan of any left-wing ideologies, but if you want socialism, try Bernstein's revisionism at least :D

People are messing up Communism and Soviet Communism.

Let me remind you that there is a HUUUUUGE difference between the two. Seriously read the stuff old Marx wrote to see real communism like a leaderless state and people working together.

Soviet " communism " is nothing but a shoddy dictatorship.

By the way, i chuckle at Karth for thinking that all old soviet satellite states are still socialist countries. Why didn't you name countries like France and Sweden. I don't blame you though, i don't know the political alignment of all US states  :P

It is correct that people are not seing the differences between Leninism(centralised democracy where the party "guides" the people) and Marxism. But there is two things all commies out there should think about:
1. Are there a working class in the western world?
2. Why is violence the only answer?

You darn commies must understand that most ideologies are frozen in the time they were made, it is very much like religion. The only socialist-alternative that would make sence in todays world is Bernstein's revisionism ;)

But I'm just a suppressing capitalist, what do I know?
