Regiments / ☠ 1. Leib Husaren Regiment "Totenkopfhusaren"
« on: May 13, 2022, 11:23:33 pm »

This regiment is a member of the IV. Armeekorps

Regiment Information

Who we are
Many of us have played since the DLC released and earlier, and in this time
lines have become more and more flavorless to us. As a resolution to the stagnant
gameplay we are all used to we have decided it high time we left the Infantry perspective
and gave the much neglected(NA that is) Cavalry position the attention it deserves with a
new Cavalry unit made up of community veterans dedicated to becoming the best at what
they do. We hope to bring some balance to North American cavalry but most of all have a
great time playing the game in a fresh new way.
10 year old outdated lore, under renovation

If you're interested in joining, or wish to inquire more about the regiment
then feel free to add me on Steam, or message me here on the forums.

Brief summary
In 1808, Husaren Regiment von Prittwitz being the only full strength hussar
regiment left in Prussia was split into the 1. and 2. Leib Husaren regiments.
The 1. Leib Husaren Regiment was an elite semi-guard status regiment for
Prussia despite never actually being in the garde itself along with its sister
regiment the 2. Leib Husaren Regiment. A few note worthy moments with
the Totenkopfhusaren include capturing the eagle of the 55e, and routing
Napoleons personal guard the Chasseurs à Cheval de la Garde Impériale.

Regiments (Game Clans) / 10th Tennessee Infantry "Sons of Erin"
« on: February 22, 2022, 03:46:19 am »

The 10th originated in Mount and Musket back in 2011 as the 10te Prussian infantry regiment, we played the mod N&S off and on over the course of a few years but not really with much solidarity until now. As a regiment we strive for excellence on the battlefield and more than anything else enjoyment of the game. If you'd be interested in joining us add ibsocal on steam.

The 10th is a NA based regiment with 2 companies of Line and Light averaging 30+ members an event. We look forward to adding a 3rd company in the not so distant future if time/commitment permits it.

The 10th Tennessee Infantry was organized at Fort Henry, on the Tennessee River, in May of 1861, just a few weeks after the first shot was fired at Fort Sumpter. The Colonel of the regiment was a Prussian named Adolphus Heiman, who would after his death be replaced by Lieutenant Colonel Randal W. McGavock as Colonel.

On July 1861, the Tenth Tennessee Regiment of Volunteers with 720 men armed with flintlock musket rifles were mustered into the Confederate Army. Garrisoned at Fort Henry until February 1862, they left there after Federal bombardment to Fort Donelson. On February 13, 1862 Federal forces attacked Fort Donelson, three days later the Fort surrendered. The Tenth endured many loses, the field and staff officers who survived were captured and sent to Fort Warren; the non-commissioned officers and privates were sent to Camp Chase and Camp Douglas, Illinois. Officers and enlisted men were exchanged and paroled and sent down to Vicksburg, from there they transported by railway and reorganized in Clinton, Mississippi. The men of the 10th Tennessee were gallantly involved in such battles as Raymond, Mississippi, Chickamauga, Georgia, Missionary Ridge, Tennessee, Rocky Face Ridge, Resaca, Atlanta, Georgia.

The 10th was one of only two Irish Catholic regiments in the Confederate Army, although their elected officers were mostly Ulster-Scots Protestants.

They built Forts Henry and Donelson and then were captured and held in Camp Douglas Prison. Reconstituted, the 10th were deployed as sharpshooters through the tough campaigns at Chickamauga, Chattanooga and Atlanta.

The Regimental flag originally belonged to Company 'D' of the Tennessee Home Guards (State Militia). It was outlined in Kelly Green on a light green background. A gold harp, maroon trim with white lettering; above the harp, "Sons of Erin"; below the harp "Where glory await you".

The unlucky 10th Tennessee Infantry was organized in 1861, just a few weeks after the first shot was fired at Fort Sumpter. The "Sons of Erin's" motto was "Go where Glory Waits You." At the fighting at Fort Donelson the 10th Tennessee suffered severe losses and earned the nickname of "The Bloody Tenth." After the surrender of Fort Donelson, the field and staff officers were taken as prisoners of war, moved to Fort Warren and Camp Douglas where they received cruel treatment, but were eventually exchanged in 1862. The reunited 10th Brigade was then ordered to Vicksburg where they suffered another bloody defeat at the Battle of Chickasaw Bayou. They continued to fight for the losing cause until the end of the war. There were less than 100 men left in the 10th Tennessee Infantry at the closing of the war, and every one of them had been wounded, many times.

The 10th is more then happy to have new players join it's ranks, all we ask of you is to listen and take in what we teach you, enthusiasm goes along way.

Regiments / IV. Armee-Korps
« on: May 20, 2014, 06:53:46 am »

Storming the village of Plancenoit

Historically the IV Korps was typical of an Armee-Korps in the Preußische Armee. They were the first Prussian Korps to arrive at Waterloo since they were also the only full strength and fresh Korps, having not arrived in time to suffer a defeat just days before at Ligny as the other Korps had. Under the command of General der Infanterie Bülow the IV Korps would soon be fighting at Plancenoit in what is described as a level of slaughter that surpassed even Hougoumont. The village of Plancenoit would change hands many times from French to Prussian and back before this battle was through. The fighting was ferocious, commander of the Young Guard, GdD Duhesme was mortally wounded, GdD Barrois was wounded. The commander of VI Army Corps, GdD Mouton was taken prisoner. The 1st Tirailleurs suffered 92 % casualties, the entirety of the Young Guard suffered 80 % casualties, and the 2 Old Guard battalions of the 2e Grenadiers would fight till their last man lay dead atop cemetary surrounding the church.

If you find yourself interested in joining a regiment in the Korps you can contact any of the provided steam profiles below or apply on our website here:  IVKorps.com

If you are curious about admittance on a regimental level into the Korps then please contact one of the heads of the Korps via Steam/Teamspeak.
The IV. Armee-Korps is a collective of mature, established and like minded regiments for the purpose of an enjoyable multi regiment community. We exercise cohesion and communication between the participating regiments during Linebattle events in stark contrast to the tactics of most regiments and other Armies. We operate together in support of one another to present a Unified tactical force on the field with Line Infantry, Skirmishers, Artillery and Cavalry just as a Napoleonic Prussian Korps would. With this cohesion of combined arms we can be more successful than a less unified and tactical team.

The Korps has no singular command. All decision making and power is held democratically between the Ruling members. As well as being a tactical formation in events the IV Korps is a mature gaming community. The Korps holds group training's as regiments weekly and multiple mixed training's on shooting and melee taught by individuals from the various units. These are great tools to hone one's skills as well as giving a sense of a singular community.

Regiments / [IV] 10te (1. Schlesisches Infanterie Regiment)
« on: February 27, 2014, 05:50:39 am »

This regiment is a member of the IV. Armeekorps

Regimental Information

Who We Are
The 10te (1. Schlesisches) was founded in December of 2011 and has remained
active as a community for it entirety. In the past, the 10te participated mainly
in Thundersnow's Tuesday & Friday linebattles boasting a roster of over 60 active
members during our time in the coalition with the UFC. As a regiment we strive
for excellence on the battlefield and more than anything else enjoyment of the game.

If you think you might fit in here, or simply wish to inquire more about the
regiment (As I know I can't type up introductions to save my life), feel free to add
me on Steam, or shoot me a message here on the forums.

During The Hundred Days
The 10te formed part of con Hacke's 13th Brigade in Bulow's IV Korps with
Oberst von Lettow of the 10te being the 13th Brigade Kommandant. Bulow's
troops did not fight at Ligny as they didn't arrive in time, but they
were the first substantial body of Prussians to arrive on the field of
Waterloo and were heavily engaged in the battle for Plancenoit.

Other Games / Fallout Series Discussion Thread: War Never Changes
« on: November 16, 2013, 05:59:58 pm »
I don't know about you guys, but the Fallout series has been my favorite single player RPG experience to date. I've been anticipating the next fallout for ever now(NV was great with all the improvements but it didn't sate me like 3 did) as I'm sure most of you have so when I saw this i had to share it.  http://thesurvivor2299.com/

The website is registered to ZeniMax Media, parent company to Bethesda Softworks.
The Morse code you hear on the website translates to "11-12-13" and the countdown timer on the page seems to be counting down to that date.

ALRIGHT, I think its safe to assume this time we aren't being fooled with the multiple updates to bethesda's twitters and website.

So what do you guys wanna see in the next Fallout?

Aww Yiss
