This is what "betas" are for :D

The deluge has been in "beta" for over two years. If that's your excuse it's one of the poorest I've ever seen.

Jesus Christ, why even am I speaking to a person who haven't seen the previous version and who doesn't know anything about our polish leagues on this mod. This mod has fully playable for events, random battles, sieges, invasions, and the only things that are bugged are few of the new game types.
Still for me It's unbelivable how you generalise the fact that naval battles lag and are bugged on the weaker servers, to complain about the whole game being a "beta" (In my post I ment the betas like that one before the latest patch for NW). Instead of trying to be an expert, keep in mind, that you know almost nothing about the community of this mod, its own life and generally, about the mod itself. Thus, in this point I'll stop discussing with you.

NW lags depend on the server quality, just as deluge ones. You probably haven't played the naval battles on the official server, but on some crap, and it resulted in what you've said. I've been playing those battles a lot and I must admit that if the server is good, then the atmosphere of the (even if random) crew is unbelivable. It makes me sad that you focus only on the bugs, which will be removed eventually, without saying for eg. "Wow, I'm the canoneer on a ship in Warband!"

You can't ignore the bugs. They're a part of the release, and they are there whether you choose to acknowledge them or not. The bugs are a part of the patch just as much as any new features are, and it's likely that some of them are unfixable because of the engine restrictions I've been talking about this whole time. You can't really claim to have added ships if they don't behave like a ship in the real world would.

You're right - I can't ingnore them, but I'm happy that I can participate in process of helping the devs in creating mod with the biggest amount of new features, and personally I prefer this, over getting something totally "perfect" like NW, but laking relatively many features (whilst keeping in mind how many new things were added between versions 0.5 and 0.8 in DLG), comparing it to MM.
It's my opinion, and I think that what is happening now in our mod community (Almost everyone has influence on creating the mod) is much better than the way NW was developed
