History



First Coalition War 1792-1797
A battalion of the regiment in 1794 in defense of Mannheim reassigned, the rest of the regiment remained in Munich. Second Coalition War 1798-1802
On 5 May 1800 was the combined battalion "Pompei" to cover the march of the 2nd Brigade under Colonel Baron Wrede used. Third Coalition War 1805
Two battalions were for the war against Austria in 1805 the brigade of Major General Earl Minucci (1st Division Lieutenant General by Deroy assumed). On 1 November 1805 two companies were used in the Strub Pass.
The first battalion was the second Brigade (Major General Franz Graf Minucci) of the second Division (Lieutenant-General Freiherr von Wrede assigned). Fifth Coalition War 1809

Napoleon's invasion of Russia in 1812
