Changing Forum Ranks

So, apparently while I was gone it displayed my rank as a Brigadier General, yet when I returned, I found I was still a captain.

My rank only seems to change when I've been viewing on my mobile, so that is what I assume is the issue, using the app 'Tapatalk'. I may be wrong but it seems to edit my rank, or the time it should add to the forum doesn't add to my time online.

Any ideas? Also this seems to be a big thing, as I've seen various other's ranks changing.

Dunno, early on in the forum it put me up to Col when I hit 1000 posts :P but it seems to be ok now
