FYI just so everyones in the loop, there is due to be a meeting today on TS between the RGL hosts and specific regiments regarding their entry into RGL with 1 or 2 rosters. Hoping it all goes well and we can start the RGL season on time tomorrow with a full team list!

By the request of a few regiments we are going to be delaying the start week of RGL by 1 week. This works out as it gives us a little more time to get some things sorted out and there's still a couple of unsure regiments we would like to get involved in order to have a 2nd league.

Also, I've been looking into incorporating an additional "consolidation" bracket into the swiss systems, with the bottom half of league 1 regiments playing vs the top few L2 regiments for some added flavour! Also gives the added benefit that of course L1 is extremely top heavy for the first 3-4 regiments especially so gives regiments some extra time on the server with their own bracket.

Seems like a pretty good idea, can easily imagine some potential upsets there

Maskman suggested an upper and lower bracket which has been done on some tournaments such as my own EIC, but I suggested this to Gi as a middle ground as it fits the format for RGL a bit more imo.

Plus an upper bracket would just be the same regiments everytime right so a little pointless imo!
