I saw this painting and it looks nice. I was wondering if you knew who painted it.

Could be Don Troiani but It looks a bit different from his work. Do you know how old this is, what era the soldier is from, etc?

He's from the Napoleonic Wars and he's a drummer of Line Infantry and I wouldn't say that it was modern. I hope that's enough info.

He looks post-Napoleonic wars to me, something about the shako and the uniform.

And the trousers. They are black instead of grey. Perhaps the Crimean War?
It doesn't matter, I just want to know the artist.

Looks 1830, 1840'ish. The Shako and shoulder wings are definitely not Napoleonic.

Definitely not him. I dont think he has ever painted military art unrelated to US History. As well this is nothing like the style he does individuals. His individual paintings are almost exclusively mid action rather than portrait.

I searched the image and could not fine an artist only Russian pages talking about the theme of music in paintings.

Of course, I also think lines should be able to move in double rank without having emotional breakdowns.
