Jokes aside, take your time and, if you want to really learn something, it's better to make 100 simple, primitive things, only capturing the very essence on the subject drawn, than 1 well-rendered piece, because unless you already know and can control the basics, no matter how much time you spend rendering the piece in the end it will look bland and unimpressive.
With that in mind, do not be afraid of starting over. Better yet, start with simple sketches (try different composition, angles, poses, lighting, etc), make yourself familliar with what you're drawing and only then proceed with it.
