Does anyone think they could draw someone who has lost their arm to a cannonball? Sorry if it sounds blood hungry or anything ;)

I love you :)

I have nothing better to do, I may as well attempt it. It's been a very long time since I've drawn anything. Let's see how I do.

As long as it looks uber awesome and could be in a gallery it's just about good enough for me ;) I kid of course :P

Well, here it is. An hour and 40 minutes of drawing and hand cramps, I feel good about this one. This is the first time I have actually, and really, sat down and drew a picture in years, probably.

Another thing, I wonder how many times this has happened. I can't imagine the intense pain of something like this, and i did my best to capture the emotion in the face. (Mind you, faces are not my thing...)

What I went for is just the soldier himself. This is extremely different than what I was going for. Originally, I wanted to have this man laying on the ground with one of his comrades trying to help him. When I realized it would be far too complicated for me to draw (I went through various sheets of paper in my pad), I switched to a slightly more simple picture. This one is the corporal in shock and pain. He dropped his musket, it's not floating... just so that's out of the way. I do hope you guys like it. This was for Jacob, since he requested the picture.

P.S. Jacob, my gift of love to you.
P.S.S. Do excuse the slight blurriness. I have shaky hands.

Poor ol' British Corporal.
