A Napoleonic War Organisation Team

Who are we ?

More than a bunch of veteran frogs who played this game for far too long, The Staff is a team of frenchmen made by myself which aims to organise regulars event among the Napoleonic War Community. We're for most of us veterans of the game, playing from the begining of Napoleonic War and even before and by the time we participed to numerous events organised by the Napoleonic War Community and even hosted our own ones.
That's the reason why we hope that all this time spent in this community and all the experience that we will gather together might give you the assurance of well organised events.

So far the team is still in construction with Tilsind (84e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne), Clikenforce (23e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne), Dren (14e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne) and myself.

What do we aim for ?

For the moment the team is still recent, some us already hosted events among the french community but it will be our "first time" as a team on the international scene.

However, what we will try to aim is hosting differents and various events for the Napoleonic War community, with professionalism and serious.
The golden age of Napoleonic War is for my part over but there are still ton of people motived for tournaments such as 1v1, 2v2 and Groupfighting ones, that's the reason why we'll try to give to Napoleonic War the better events possible before we got the possibility to move on another module or game.

For now what we plan to host are more 1v1 and 2v2 events since Lime and the 3rds already host which I find a really good Groupfighting Event but If you have any idea for a special tournament you would like to host, make sure to let us know.

What are we looking for ?

For the moment, not much. We already have the IVe Corps d'Armée Français which has the capacity to host events on a serious machine. More information will be communicated about it in the following days. And I do have several decent maps for these kind of events which have already been used in the past for similar events.

We're not specialy looking for members either however If you're interested by the idea, you can always contact me on steam but in this case, you must be able to speak a fluent french to be consider worth for the team. Though, since the team will be hosting international events, we're definetly looking for non french speaker able to be referees in-game, so do not hesitate If you want to help us out. We just prefer keeping the internal adminstration only french for now.

Informations regarding the post above :

* Make sure that it is still a work in progress and thus that a header and the steam gifts of the group steam will be added soon. I sadly have very limited knowledges concerning the making of a thread but I do hope hope that you will be more interested by the contents of it rather than by its look.

* We're currently working on a future tournament but since there is already a 2v2 tournament hosted for the 1st november, nothing is planned before this date. Our event might be hosted around the Saturday 19th of November and will probably be a 1v1 since none has been hosted in the recent months but nothing is comfirmed yet so please make sure that this thread is not a sign up thread.

* Some of you might be doubt of the goal of this thread, it's simply to present the team and to announce to the NW EU community that we plan to host regular events on it and the Events Forum Thread seemed to be the best place to post that.

* Please excuse the grammar mistakes aswell as the few appromixation present in this thread, I'm not a native english speaker and I made the thread from 5am to 7am. I will try to correct it as soon as possible.
