Which did you try, the uninstalling and reinstalling of the game, or verifying the game cache? Also, could you be more specific about the error, a screenshot of the error, or typing it out would be helpful.

I'm Sleek, or Sleekcrush. Currently in the 00th, led by our glorious leader, Thundersnow. I'm on US1 too much, many people know me through there. I'm not known on the forums much, non-existent to EU players, and I occassionally go on the EU Groupfighting server since there is no NA Groupfighting servers with people. I also believe that Bob Ross is amazing.

Have you tried verifying your game cache? To do this, open Steam, right click Mount & Blade: Warband, left click properties. Click on the top on the tab on top that says "Local Files", then click, "Verify Integrity of Game Cache..." That might fix the problem, it may take a while to actually do the process since there is a lot of files. Let me know how it works out for you.
