I knew our laws were stupid, but seriously, do they even make a fuss about you taking it out of the safe to clean it!? I can understand them if they don't want you to walk around with a gun in broad day light, but seriously....cleaning it....inside your house where nobody can see it...

Makes no sense anyway, a working original is just as deadly as a working replica. Why is a replica regarded as a modern firearm, while an original is not? And why does everything that is produced before 1945 but was invented/designed before 1870 count as original? An Enfield 53 replica from 1944 is still a replica...
