My size 46 Hessen trousers came in, and they fucking fit!?!? They're a little tight, but I have quite a bit of weight to lose still. I'm just surprised they fit.

I just back home from Detroit today to a new package for me from Hessen.  As i said i bought M40 tunic Production sample for $50. I was not expecting amazing tunic. Just hoping for a better cut. The M43 i have is quite baggy and tailor thing has been pain in the ass. You can say the tunic blew me the fuck out when I opened it. Did not expect awesome quality and it is tailored perfect. The sleeve is at perfect height and it is snug at chest (Just like i wanted) and I spiced it a bit by adding M43 insignas and late war gray shoulderboard to M40, looking damn spiffy.

Unfortunately my Dienstbrille does not fit my melon head :C  Going to try find other choices now. I will post a full kit impression sometime this week for Munk.

Soooo....I need some WW2 Soviet sutlers.

Most importantly ; Trousers, shoes/boots, gymnesterika, Pilotka and leather stuff. The rest I can probably loan. Period is +1943, so with the epaulets and shit.

Taking advantage of the Ukrainian crisis. Nice. Sadly I don't know Russian.

Also, is that an army surplus store?  :P

If you go on, click on the bottom right bit of the triangle and there's a drop down language selection from there. Kit tends to be old surplus, whereas the uniforms are by and large reproductions. Where ever you get stuff, just watch for people passing off 80s Cold War stuff as WWII, the crafty buggers are always at it

My Comrades in the 13th swear by it. There's always Trident Militaria from the US of A, but the best stuff tends to come from Ukraine or Russia. Could try Schuster.ru, which I'm told is good but haven't got round to trying yet.

I'll get into contact with the Soviet group I intend to join after my exams. They'll know what I'm supposed to get.

It does seem to be a lot cheaper then ACW  :P

My parents decided to donate to the Joer-needs-reenactment-gear funds. So I'll be looking for whatever I can use at the market next week in Hoogstraten.
