No offensive meant, Petschie, and I trust you are trying hard, but I'm really yet to meet an American who doesn't have obesity due to 'serious mental conditions'... Or Genetics.

I wasn't always like this. Around the time I turned 15, I started gaining weight. Prior to that, I used to be very skinny and athletic. To this day, neither the doctors or I know what caused this... its unfortunate, but I do take ofense when someone tells me "lose [more] weight." Like, who the fuck are you to say something like that, regardles if it was in jest or not. I have struggled with weight noow for over five years, and I am very self conscious about it.

I used to be Very... VERY fat when is was young. I im still getting oover it. as long as your trying, your doing your best! No matter how you are now, its the fact that youa re doing something about it that is good. And let only you tell yourself about things that you are self conscious about

medieval re-enactment combat = extreme excercise.

it has been proven that 5 minutes in full kitted armour and doing combat = the same amount of weight loss for 1 hour of full on aerobics.

ive lost quite alot, just by doing re-enactment, i dont do any sports or anything. i dont know an exact amount, though.

No, its not. I do cadets, sort of similar drills, both in the field and on special days, and there is no way they can be compared.
