A guy from the group I joined is going to hook me the fuck up. The SS-Deutschland was one of the only SS-Divisions that lasted throughout the entire war. I'm going to do a late-war impression, since I have been buying late-war items. The guy from the group told me has so much stuff that is too big for him, and he's not that smaller than me:
M43 Wehrmacht Recycled SS Uniform Reproduction,
M42 Original Stahlhelm with repro liner,
SS-Oak Camo Smock,
Jackboots and socks,
SS Schuetze Collar tabs and shoulder boards,
and he has an extra e-tool with no carrier.
This stuff all cost him $800. He said, if it fits, he'll sell it all to me for $500... So, I'm going to get a huge deal here. I have to wait until the FIG event Jan.28th-Feb.2nd to see if this stuff fits, though. If I get this stuff, it's going to throw me really far ahead of the game, and I should be able to start attending events by the middle of spring. Can't wait.
