I didn't have any family that actively served on the frontlines in WWII anywhere. They were either on ships or stateside.

Neither do I. But my family lived in the Dutch East-indies at the time. And the other parts in the Netherlands, which was rather involved in WW2. My grandmother remembers the German soldiers running trough her families backyard to escape the Allies.

Nope, Re-enacting the Germans in WW2 is just not an option for me. Luckily, I don't have that much interest in it anyway.

I don't have a problem with that.

Russian's pretty cool, I've talked with König about it.

Duuring's afraid if he puts on a stahlhelm he'll be possessed to start listening to Skrewdriver and burning crosses in lawns. xD

watch out durring is going to have a lot to say about this

...... too late

Which is all the German a soldier, whatever his nation, ever needs.

Well, I'm terrible sorry that I remember what happened to my family during a war they did not choose to enter. I'm not talking morals (Yes Zac, Commies were bad too), I'm talking about my personal life, the choices I make and above all the reasoning behind those choices, and I'd appriciate it if those decisions or the reasoning are not ridiculed.

My next buy really depends on if (well, more like what and when) I start a new impression. Since I have most things I need for my GI impression (yes I know a kit is "never complete" but you know what I mean :P ). I've been considering doing a Soviet WWII impression, and there's a group in my state that has an even coming up soon so I may ask to tag along with them to see what it's like.
