Yeah that's true. We still make jokes about it.

In the early 90s, when my grandfather made a mighty fall from some stairs, he was transported to hospital. A female doctor from German descent was on duty and after she said something, with her heavy accent, my grandfather stopped her mid-sentence by holding up his hand, and said: 'First, I'd like my bike back'.

Hahaha! Thats a good one.

Same thing happened when the Dutch Football team won an important match over West-Germany. Game was played in Germany, so after the game Dutch supporters went into town, 'liberating' bikes, throwing them in the air, shouting 'Hurrah, we have our bikes back!'

I would like a Dutch bike... My Bike is totally broken, does not have lights or brakes... It is dangerous to use.

And we always thought that tourists always came to the Netherlands to bring back some weed. Of course, they were actually going for the bikes!

Managed somehow dropped price from 250 to 200 for the bike. Can't wait to pick it up and invade Chicago. 1939 Wehrmacht style baby. Landser on bikes vs polish lancers.

Also, planning to buy a m35 helmet from Hessen, Good quality Gemaschen, Heer belt Buckle from Military History Fest.

Made a deal with a guy, getting Zeltbahn, Assault Frame and bag, gas mask canister, y straps m39 I think. For 180.

I need to get tunic hooks, straps for mess kit and canteen (leather all dried and easily torn apart).

That's it for my ww2 kit so far.

Now ACW,  may consider buying a carpet blanket from union mill (coverlet) and waiting on Missouri & boots to finish my Kibler pack.

I'LL BUY IT!

(No, that'd be a waste. My unit banned those and will be permitting spiter helmet camo only to 2 guys).

My dream is a NJ sekela Federal frock. But I dont have $400 dollars to drop on a single thing. Besides that im pretty content with my impressions so far.

I plan on learning the drums so I can play music at the events because shooting has gotten kind of boring.
Of course, I also think lines should be able to move in double rank without having emotional breakdowns.
