only thing that is better about the k98 is the safety on it.  most folks i have seen don't even use the safety on the mosin  it because of how bad it is.  They just keep the bolt action open instead.

I didn't really care to buy a parka jacket because I want a repro M42 mantel (the one I wear is original) as well as a repro M36 mantel for early war. But like I said, it's too cheap to not buy. At the very least I can sell it for a much higher price if I don't want it anymore.

That's possibly where I'm going to college. ;(. I wish I can afford to go to school in Berlin instead.

Anyway, my next reenacting purchase....FOID card fire arm ownership ID. Don't need for acw but i need for ww2 so I can buy a kar98k
