It's disappointing to see the 14e going inactive, especially when you guys were considerably prominent in the event side of the community.

The 91st, Tavington, and myself thoroughly enjoyed playing alongside you, and even against you, during your Thursday and Sunday events.

Je pleure. It is sad to see that you guys are retreating yourselves from competitive NW for the time being, but your post couldn't have been more true. You frogs truly accomplished it all, and can be incredibly proud of your achievements. I for one will dearly miss your Thursday and Sunday events, the constant headaches you guys gave me on Groupfighting and the lovely banter with Knight. The 14e has been a great example for me (I still blame my parents for not being French), and many regiments in NW.

Best of luck to you lads in your multigaming community, and lets hope that NW will remain a solid part of the multigaming experience that is the 14e Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne.

To summary in few words the situation:
14e doesn't disband, we just leave the competition and the community, we will show up on few linebattles, and we will play other games as a multigaming community until we all find back our motivation! We are planning to take a break of almost 1 year, to be fresh for Mount & Blade II and it's NW mod :p

Even though we had several arguments due to differents point of view, the 14e has always been to my eyes and this even when our relation weren't at their best, the best NW French regiment and at one point the best NW regiment. As a french, I guess I can be proud of that.

You guys managed to do something which could have nearly seem impossible for most of the community members. Still you did. I guess for that you guys deserve many congratulations.

I really hope that you guys will be back competitively at one point, because the NW competitive scene won't be the same without you.

Best thing about Napoleonic wars is the strong bond and friendship it creates when a regiment is formed. It creates the competitive yet far fetched teamwork between friends and allies that is un-breakable and yet remarkable.

14e is a prime example of brothers in arms that formed to be the best and obtained with dedication and an achievable goal in front of them, but whilst doing this they realize how much friendship and determination builds up.

The communities and gathering of friends is one of the best things to develop from a regiment, best yet to continue the legacy then let it disband.

14e will always have a chapter in the story of this game.
