Here's a pic of me being a farb at my last event this year.
We do a 'black knight' as a sideshow for kids to fight. Hence why it's farby as fuck. No idea what's even going on with my boots.
What is weird is how short (which I am, but not to that extent) and dumpy (which I ain't) that surcotte makes me look.
On the complete other end of the scale to that later period helmet and cotton surcotte, here's Sir Richard knighting the kid that repeatedly smacked me in the face with that LARP sword on the rack.
I'm still gonna get some pictures of my own helmet up now that the show season's over, just to show what sort of damage gets done over two months, but right now my internet's dropped into 1980s speeds, so I can't upload anything.
