Yesterday I was in "Gersdorf", a small village. I only have a few pics, so forgive me.

But the event was really great.
Around 30 Prussians and 15 Russians against 50 Saxons and 40 Frenchs. In two Fights we tried to defend this little village. Myself helped a surgeon to transport the wounded soldiers and to buld a stonewall in only 20 Minutes.

Here the stonewall and all Prussians:

To the fights: the first was on the field and we retreated back to the Village and fought very well. It toke 90 minutes.
Thesecond was fought around two big farmsteads. We defended them very well, but we had to surrender.  :-[

Sry for my bad english.

great stuff my friend. Hey I know your english isnt good but you should post here more always love more people to post here and prussian napoleonic would be a good addition!
Of course, I also think lines should be able to move in double rank without having emotional breakdowns.

I have been summoned!

Looks pretty damned warm, no wonder they left the pelisses off, can't imagine how the busbies feel in that heat though.

I also notice there seems to always be one female hussar.
Crawling back to you,
Ever thought of calling when you've had a few? 'cause I always do.

Just came back from a two-hours cavalry training. Eight people, half in modern outfit, half in uniform.

It was awesome. Weather was good, horses were great, only my horse(rental, btw) was afraid of sabres so I couldn't join until the last rounds after I switched horses and borrowed a sabre.

So, two lines of 4 people charging trough eachother. First step, then trot, first few sabre clashes, and eventually we did a controlled gallop without clashing sabres. Damn, riding in a gallop over a field, sabre in hand... I honestly had to control myself not to charge all out. It's just so epic.

Oh and of course we trained formations etc too  ;)
