History
The 92nd at Waterloo
The 92nd Regiment of Foot was a British regiment during the Napoleonic Wars and many other wars. The regiment spent its first five years garrisoning and later joined another the 75th regiment to make the Gordon Highlanders (Brigade).
The regiment joined the Duke of Wellington in 1810 during the Peninsular campaign. In 1815, the regiment fought in many battle's such as the Battle of Quatre Bras and the Battle of Waterloo.

The 92nd went on to fight many other wars such as the First Boer War in 1881. The regiment colours were put in Saint Giles Cathedral in 1883. The colours can still be found there to this day.
