It's Iron Europe next week!

I would like to officially apologize for the unexpected server issues last week. We are root causing it and in the meantime a new and more powerful server has been rented in Germany to ensure nice and smooth ping for everyone :)

Typically 60+ but on occasion up to 100

Sorry for the late response, I should really check this page more often.

That'll be Blood & Iron, as a matter of coincidence!

Nice!! Hopefully we can bring good turn out as our NW event has already gone on its break. Anything specific planned? :D

I'd like to return to the classics with "The Last Samurai" charge :)

Other than that, classic battle and possibly a siege round?

Sounds great - I remember vaguely an ambush round aswell from the Hugo days but not in any detail - was so long ago :D looking forward to it!

Wasn't it on Whigs and Tories? Continentals ambushing a redcoat convoy? I mean, ambushes on Blood & Iron are short, bloody and very conclusive :)

No not that one although I do remember that. I think it was a scenario specific event, ambush was by Samurai warriors at close quarter so more balanced!! Tom Cruise rued the day he stepped on to that wooded track.
