It's not just about the league though. The smaller teams are still competitive and can beat the big teams home and away. Whereas Bayern win/draw 95% of their games.

Chelsea have won and drawn 90% of their games this season... There is usually 1-2 dominant teams in the top leagues.

The small teams in the bundesliga can beat the bigger ones as well, thats how a CL team like dortmund can be rocking down in bottom despite their quality. And the fact that new sides like Paderborn and Augsburg are doing well.

The argument that the PL is hands down the best league stopped being relevant at the turn of the century.

The PL is the best league. There isn't much debate. The names/players of the PL are much bigger than that of the Bundesliga. Spain is a close 2nd, maybe even first but the German leagues are defiantly  third.

I guess that depends on the person. I was attracted to the Bundesliga originally because of the end to end high pressure play (although Guardiola kind of ruined that). As for names i guess the PL has an advantage when it comes to star players, although we all know that the worlds best players are in la liga.

Worlds best individual players, I am sure that if Messi and Penaldo someday come to the premier league their style of play will change dramatically and will soon not be recognized as the finest footballers in the world. Penaldo got most of his fame when he left Man U and was allowed to do everything on his own, if he were to return I would think he would definitely not be as good.
Look at some world class players that came to the Premier league: Ozil, Robinho, Shevchenko... All lost their touch upon entering the premier league, not to say there haven't been some players who haven't gotten better/ grown to arise after their arrival i.e Sanchez, Viera, Henry...

City and Chelsea are really only contenders at this point. Only advantage United has is that they don't have Champions league, and I'd go as far as to say that has been one of the biggest things that has helped them to succeed so far this season.

Madrid, since Barca's transfer ban wont be uplifted. Cant really see him going to Bayern since Perez always gets his man.

If someone is going into Madrid that big someone will probably also end up coming out. They keep saying Bale isn't leaving but I think he might for enough money.
