I don't see how you could be a bandwagon fan for Manchester United. Its not like we are Real Madrid or Bayern who people just support them because they are two of the best teams in the world. Maybe people thought United were like that up to 2009. Since then a lot of ManU fans like me have stayed true, even though we have sucked as with Moyes.
The thing with Van Gaal. He was able to bring in some fair players, sadly ruin them like Di Maria and Falcao. But, he brought a team coming of a Moyes era in 7th place, to fighting with Arsenal for 3rd. I'd say LVG has done a fair job. And now with his signings and the players he is interested in, I definitely think next year will be an even better year for ManU. Even though there are lots of reports of De Gea going to Real Madrid. I wont believe it until I see Real Madrid officially announce it or De Gea himself does. A situation like this was with Gundogan from BVB. Everyone says it was a done deal, yet then it wasn't true. I hope this De Gea thing with RM is like this, he needs to stay true to ManU. He will have better fans at Manchester. Real Madrid fans are dicks. If you play bad, Bale for example, the fans will lay into you. I just hope that if De Gea stays, and the new signings, Manchester United could contend even better for the league title next season
