Linebattles should be more about shoulder to shoulder formations
As cool as it looks in the films e.g Gettysburg and Gods & Generals, the fact that linebattles aren't shoulder to shoulder is what makes North & South fun and different from the tediousness of Napoleonic Wars.
If you don't like line infantry than you sir are playing the wrong game all together whether it be N&S or NW. Go play CoD, nub.
Have you ever even played a NaS linebattle? Dont think so, even line infantry act like skirms its not NW...
Yes man, it's very common to see line infantry crouching and 2 man spacing like skirmishers; i think the only diference of them and the skirmishers is that they can only crouch when they are on cover. It's boring man, also the regiment i'm in ( I don't want to say the name ) , don't have strategy, they very often charge enemies that are on high ground, so as expected they lose a lot of men. And other stuff i prefer to don't comment here.
