Share Your Results Thread ;-;

Today is GCSE results day in the UK! (End of secondary education exams). Not sure if anyone will post, but meh I thought why the hell not. Post your exam results here, if you want. (GCSE/A-Levels etc or whatever people outside the UK do!). And maybe elaborate on what you plan to do next.

Anyway, here are mine:

Spoiler

GCSE

EDEXCEL (Higher) Maths - A
AQA (Higher) German - C (gg wp)
AQA (Higher) English Language - B
AQA (Higher) English Literature - B
EDEXCEL IGCSE (Higher) Biology - A*
EDEXCEL IGCSE (Higher) Chemistry - B
EDEXCEL IGCSE (Higher) ICT - B
EDEXCEL IGCSE (Higher) Physics - A
OCR (Higher) Geography - A
OCR (Higher) History - B
[close]

Good results I suppose, but disappointed with History and IT  :(.

This isn't meant to be a thread for people to brag, so please be nice and friendly ;-;. I myself plan to do Computer Science, Maths, Electronics and Politics for AS/A-Levels (With a B in IT  ::)).

Please someone else share so I don't look like more of a nub than I am  :'(.

Well, this is my A-level results (which I actually got last week). I managed to get what I needed to do Maths at Lancaster Uni :)

Spoiler
EDEXCEL Mathematics - A*

Nice. It's a good result for A-Level maths definitely. I need an A at A-Level to do Computer Science at York University.

No further maths though?

Nvm you edited it xD

So what are the marks, from low to high?
Probably one of the very few old-timers here who hasn't been a regimental leader.

So what are the marks, from low to high?

A* is the best possible grade and U is the worst possible grade.

A*, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, U

Lol I just checked the grade boundaries for my maths exam. 24% for a C. Wtf? It was a hard paper, harder than the IGCSE equivalent anyway.

You're disappointed with your History and IT results? I'd be extremely happy if I got grades like that.

Well, in the summer exam last year (Not meaning to be a braggart/self centred cunt or anything) I got 87%. So getting a B was a huge let down.

And then in history I was one mark off an A. 159/200, needed 160/200.

But hey, the systems broken - nothing I can do about it. The conservative education minister is a complete fucktard and the examinations boards themselves keep screwing up and can't make their minds up on how strict they want to mark exams.

I've never been much for giving standardized exams much credit, but I haven't taken the GCSE (I'm an American). Anywho, hopefully you're all glad that's over. That's how I felt after the HSPA here (required to graduate HS in the USA). ^.^
