I don't think there would be any suffering for UK servers, Germans would still get around 30 - 40ping

To be honest, if I had it my way I'd absolutely ensure that no german servers exist, even if you have relatively low ping, the awful infrastructure means you're seeing 30 but playing at 60.

I'd love to see this work more than a lot of people I believe, but Idk. On a London server I usually get 90-100ms, but to Reykjavik it shows me between 100-130ms. It would be more fair in the sense that everyone would have more ping, but that may be more of a test of luck than actual skill

we COULD try it but from what Price and Russian Say theyve done the math and the dream is over. The cables and infostructure just isnt there (((

Anthony you love to do eu events so literally just go play on their servers and stop trying to get maybe 2-5 na players who might ever want to do a gf against eu who don’t live in a big city to even do this

If you want to waste your money great, but I don’t think anyone from eu or na cares for the most part

i think the only use of Icelandic servers would be for NWWC or another EU vs NA thing but the rest meh idk

Seems like Toronto-Reykjavik is ~130 ping but London is ~90 - so this probably wouldn’t work
Cool idea tho! Ping would probably just suck for everyone so it would be even in that respect
