IntroductionSpoilerWelcome back to league 2! The Christmas and winter break now also ends for League 2. The action resumes with the smallest format, the 5v5.[close]Prediction SpoilerThe champions of the first 5v5 tournament GoodFellas again look to be very dangerous. With high-tier players such as Maximou and FoxTrot in such a small format, they will be hard to beat. If they wanna win the title the rest of the team has to play to their top as well. The second favorite for the title is Gordon. Having made some strong transfers they now have a very balanced 5v5 roster with the likes of Naatsuu, Galavant, and Faisan. But they need to find consistency over a whole tournament. In the season so far they have often failed to fulfill expectations.Further title candidates are Crappers, Amigos, and Spectre. Crappers, the 6v6 champions are without a doubt the best-organized team of League 2. But in such a small format they could be lacking a little portion of individual skill on the first 3 positions. The german team Amigos are placed second in the overall standings but are yet to win a tournament. If they can bring Faser and Nosswill to the field they are a good bet on the tournament win. If not it could well end in another semi-final. The last potential tournament winner is Spectre. The reigning 7v7 champions are only going into their second ever tournament. It will be interesting to see how they deal with the different format. Everything from a quarter-final exit to the tournament win sounds like a reasonable prediction for them.DwC and PRY are the 2 teams that could start a big run but are not necessarily favorites. DwC has already placed twice inside the Top 3 this season, still, the 5v5 looks like a format where they are good but not good enough to do something really big. They are simply missing 1 or 2 really strong players. PRY hasn't really shined yet, but with the addition of Ruler and players such as Sticky and Maskman they surely have the potential to play a quarter, maybe even a semi-final in League 2.SubV and the 7pp are two mid-tier teams one should look out for. SubV is an actively practicing team with good chemistry just waiting to finally produce a good result. While the 7pp has added 4 international players, some of them looking very decent for League 2. Will be interesting to see their influence. [close]Players to watch out forSpoilerPlayers who you should watch for potential MVP this Sunday: Faisan, Rikus, Maximou, FoxTrot, Nosswill, and Yovko. These players can play a key role in getting their respective teams to a tournament win: Naatsuu, Galavant, Stockholm, Chainsor and Valley. You dont have them on your list, but they are strong: Herp, UnRealTime, Aenye, Krembit, Lulu and Maskman.Players who wanna carry their mid-field teams to a good result: Sticklitz, Maxi, Desant, and Banane.[close] WRITTEN BY Stockholm
