Welcome to the official thread of Marxishey's 2v2 Sword & Bayonet Tournament. For this edition of the M. Tournament/Marxishey series, MarxieL will be joined by myself (Herishey) where we will host this event together. If you wish to join us and help to shape this tournament, you can add either of us on steam (links are further down below on this thread). We are looking for around 32-64 teams but can obviously work with less or more, depending on the sign-ups. The tournament will unfold following the older style with just a single-elimination bracket (this is subject to change potentially though). Brackets

A steam group invite will be sent to captains and referees in order to supply the details for the tournament. If you do not receive an invite or miss it, contact MarxeiL or Herishey and ask for an invite. Captains will not be chased around, and failure to join the group will mean you will not be directly given the details.

Roster Rules § 1.1 Roster limit is set to 3 players per team. § 1.2 Players MUST sign up with their community names in addition to roleplay names. Both MUST be specified. § 1.3Roster edit deadline is set at 7:00pm (19:00) GMT the same day (Saturday the 17th of April). After that, not a single change will be allowed (unless under very specific circumstances). § 1.4Only players currently active on NW will be allowed to play in this tournament, that means no native players unless they are currently active here e.g. ONeil, Charlini, LaPache, etc. To define this further you have to have been playing NW actively in a regiment/team for 1.5+ years or be 'currently active' now within a team/regiment for 3+ months. General Rules § 2.1 Melee speed will be set on medium. § 2.2 Bayonet players must use the line infantry class and officers must use the standard officer class. § 2.3 You aren't allowed to spawn if you are not playing. § 2.4 All matches will be ft3 or 5, apart from the quarter-finals and semi-finals (ft7) and the finals (ft10). § 2.5 Good behaviour is expected. Insulting/toxicity will lead to 1 warning then a suspension from matches. § 2.6 Same/Random Faces in a team are NOT allowed. § 2.7 ID MUST be provided. Players with ID's missing won't be allowed to play. [close]

Match Rules § 3.1 Once a match has been called, each team has ~2 minutes to get ready. § 3.2 Once typed 'r' and the referee has said 'go', the round CANNOT be voided. § 3.3 In any case of a server crash/map change if it is to happen, then all current rounds WILL be VOIDED. [close]
