9 would defeat the purpose of having a multi-team tournament. Might up it to 8 players, no more. I will update you on this later.

My issue was not the amount of active players. It was availability. Why not have snowflake nations have multiple teams of smaller rosters and more unified ones have more people on a single team? One does not have to exclude the other.

In any case, 8 is fine. It is your call after all.
