All of you are accepted but not specialists are reserved, so you will have to luck out on the specialists signups to get the desired units.
Otherwise you will play as line infantry.

This is done to allow a rotation between the various regiments. if you do not end up getting a specialist slot you can try again next week

I am 100% certain that BCOF will feature some NW either as a mod or a DLC but for now its ACW.

there are EU events to go to but for the public player you are stuck with mostly NA players for now.
unlike NW however you are not as influenced by your ping in-game.
