Events: EU / Arctic Servers - Saturday Naval Battle (EU) [CANCELLED]

The idea of a naval battle event has been in question since the release of the new update, and we have decided to make an official naval battle to kick start things off. To start the event will only be a 100 player event with 50 each side, each regiment will have their own ship however if they are small in numbers they must join another small regiment on a ship together or tag along with a larger regiment if available. The maps which will be played are custom made with only the larger moveable ships available for use with a maximum of 5 ships per team on the map. We will be in partnership with the 15th Hussars who will be providing us with a few extra admins for the event to make sure things go swiftly, however we are always looking for more trusted players to help admin the event as well as play and have a fun time. This will be the first time we have tried something like this so it may not be perfect first time but we'll give it a bloody good go. All regiments are allowed to join but we will only be using the Marine classes so if you are a cav regiment signing up don't expect to be cav.

1. Regiments are not restricted to lines whilst on boats but a sense of organisation must be kept, but regiments must form lines if they choose to disembark onto land.
2. Each regiment gets their own ships, unless they choose to share with another regiment but there must only be a max of 20 people per ship.
3. Regiments are restricted to the Marine classes available for both nations (United Kingdom / France), they may choose what sub-class they wish to play (Sailors / Marines).
4. Maximum of 2 captains per ship / regiment.
5. Ships must make an attempt to engage in battle with others, this means no camping at the side of the maps.
6. You may not fire a musket whilst boarding an enemy ship, pistols however may be fired. (Basically no fire in charge with the exception of pistols)

The event will begin at 7.00pm GMT and the signups will be both on the forums and teamspeak however regiments which sign-up on the forums will be guaranteed a spot in the event. A regimental representative must be in teamspeak at 6.30 GMT. The balance will be sorted through teamspeak by one of the event admins and details will be handed out to the regimental representatives. Once the balance and teams are sorted the event will begin at 7pm GMT and will last a total of 5 rounds on a single map, the team which wins the most rounds of course wins the event. If there are any problems during the naval battle please contact an admin through steam, their details will be given out in the teamspeak before the event starts.

The 'referral program' can only be applied one per customer to a service. 15th Group Fighting is a melee only server which focuses on having quality melee fights between two teams of players, as well as helping less skilled players learn and improve their skill. Currently the server has seven maps in rotation and more to come in regular updates. The server is also part of the 15th server family and provides a friendly and professional experience on each visit to the server, as well as having a fully dedicated team of administrators who are willing to assist players in anything server related they require and also enforce the servers rules. All of these factors come together as one to provide an overall kick-ass experience on the server which all players will enjoy!
