Title: NA Snap Election - Oct-Dec Term
Post by: Shadow on October 07, 2019, 09:22:02 pm
Due to Jolly's resignation as CR, we've decided to hold a snap election to appoint a new NA CR for the remaining period of this term.

We'll be accepting candidates until 7 PM (19:00) CEST (https://www.timeanddate.com/time/zones/cest) on Friday, October 11 before locking the thread and opening the voting booths.

Troll apps will not be added, and you must answer all of the questions in the application. Consider this your warning.  I'll try to update the OP daily, other mods can update it as well.  Check the stickied threads for help.

Are you aware that the position of Community Representative is one of trust and confidence, and do you understand you can be punished for breaking that trust?: I understand that perfectly.
Why should you become CR?: Most people consider the CR position nowadays to be almost defunct and redundant. While those people can hold their opinions freely, I see it differently. I aim to do what I can in order to help delay the inevitable of the NA community's demise. I have had a plethora of experience when it comes to administration throughout the years in both the competitive and the casual communities of the NA community and even EU community respectively. I know how to run events and solve most disputes, an experience I will be transitioning with me into the CR position if chosen / elected. I also have had experience in managing forums for serveral PW/PK clans such as House Blackfyre, Kingdom of Macedon, and even just helping run the forums for a server as a whole.
What are one or two things you commit to doing as CR this term? Likewise to the predecessors of the CR position, I aim to promote growth and stability between the casual and competitive communities for NA. I hope to use my abilities to help organize and run tournaments as I can help provide a server more or less. I can most definitely help any create a thread for their respective event, but I will admit making threads is not my strong suit. With the event I host on Sunday, in the absence of Moraine, I will push for pubs to make forum accounts and get involved with the other side of the community they don't see just by playing the game.

Best of luck to anyone else who may apply.
