1v1s will always be the peak of competitive NW.I know its probably not my place to say this, but that's probably cause there's more room for the smaller man to win. As well as the better leaders to show their skill. I enjoy group fighting leagues as well but I always go into it knowing our chances are slim with the 21st. We really really enjoyed the last group fighting league though.
If it really worries you guys that much, then use some of the EIC rules. As soon as a reg starts camping, a 5 minute timer begins, then both regiments have to close the distance. Make it even shorter for NA if you like as the regiments are smaller.we have these rules. really doesnt change much

This event was always meant to be much shorter in comparison to leagues like NANWL and TNWL. More of a tournament then a league hence the "cup" name. That was on you and the ref for not reading the rules there. Also asking the opposing regiment is not a great idea as they can tell you something that isn’t true just for you to forfeit.

Only reason he played for us is cuz he said he was only with us. But then played for 18e if he played with 18e then us. My personal opinion is to overturn the ban on Sanders. If the referees had the ability to check a centralized roster to ensure the lineup of players is clean (which is their job as stated on page one), along with reg leaders being able to see if a player is on two rosters (so if Chriseh saw that Sanders was on two rosters he could bench him beforehand), none of this would have happened. The referees should have communicated to Chriseh and failed because of a lack of proper league organization regarding rosters. Now all I see is the 18e being punished for something the referees should have prevented in the first place, or Chriseh could have prevented had he been informed properlyThing is chriseh isn’t getting punished. Sanders is, he knew the roster he had originally chose to play for, then went to double reg after being warned. Only punishment being handed out is to someone breaking the rules on purpose after multiple warnings to not do so. Price is just punishing himself throwing a childish tantrum cuz one player got caught doing something he knew was wrong. Sanders knew the consequences and didn’t think they mattered. In Sanders own words “no one cares about the rules of the league” wellll should care now or be banned or have forfeited matches. Very simple like marceaux said discussion is over.
If Chriseh asked the refs if Sanders could play and the refs said yes then the perm ban should be voided, as if Chriseh and the refs were properly informed about the situation roster wise Sanders would have been benched and served his match ban(s) if he joined 18e- DOUBLE-REGGING/MERCS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED! Lineups will be checked at the start of each match by referees. If any double reggers/mercs are found or are discovered later via proper evidence the regiment using double reggers will automatically forfeit that match or the win overturned.

Secondly a primary line leader being prevented from playing massively affects the match. Its no diff then if Chan got OA'd every round and requested a reset. This was even worse because he couldn't even tell anyone to pause or to take over. And he was able and willing to play but another person was literally stopping him in the middle of a match. Its not comparable to Tom Brady getting injured. Also, if we voided every round that Chan was dossed mid round the score would be 1-1. I however decided to give the 21st some slack since it wasn't their fault and let them have 2 rounds that Chan was dossed at close range mid-maneuver or volley and it massively affected and changed those rounds.

I get Chantakey is the leader of the 1tes, but you are also there to lead Marceaux aren't you? I mean sure, I understand voiding that round when it was down to 5-7 people at the end. Just take the L that the match refs ruled and move on, games dead and this match won't mean anything in a couple days. There has been plenty of scuffed events on NW from people hijacking admin and banning to league hosts using hacks.
This is my personal opinion: Chantakey you deserve a rematch, and maybe a handful of the rest of the 1tes (Love ya Rune <3). The way that the majority of the 1tes acted towards the 21st however was completely unprofessional, and completely voids any cooperation when it comes to a rematch.
I'm just sayin', if someone wants to pay for me to have an all expenses paid vacation/trip in order to do a rematch over LAN to avoid these problems, I'm down
