We received a bit of a thrashing today in the Sunday line battle! The French fought really well, perhaps inspired by the World Cup final. As it happens so often, it's in the most difficult battles that individual skills stands out: Pvt Purban was awarded the Bronze Star today for conspicuous gallantry in personally slaying a dozen French soldiers in the first assault.

Yup, absolute brilliant melee performance this Sunday. Maybe it would be about time for me to start up a melee tournament again. hmm....
