Recruitment Message

We are the 16th Coldstream Regiment of Footguards, a competitive North American Regiment, with a heavy focus on melee combat! We try to maintain a fun environment, but we frown on trolling. We accept members of any skill/experience level (we have practices/trainings for a reason) and from both the North American and European Community (though we only attend North American events).
                                                                                                                                     

Brief in-game History

We were formerly the 98e Regiment d'Infanterie de Ligne, but felt a need to reconstruct and re-identify ourselves after a rather unfortunate incident.

               

Code of Conduct:
1.You will always try to show up to melee practices
2.You will not troll with our tags on, or instigate problems with members of the NW community.
3.You will not be disruptive in teamspeak or talk over the commanding officer during line battles. If you are/do, especially during an official match, you will be kicked from the event and expelled from the regiment (after a maximum of 3 warnings during the match).
4.You will stay out of 'All chat' during events, if there is a problem, let the Colonel or Commanding Officer deal with it.
5.You will bring issues to the attention of the Colonel or  Lieutenant Colonel, whether inter-regimental (not getting along with another member) or with someone in the community.
6.Resolve your issues peacefully!
7.Follow instructions quickly and efficiently.
8.Have Common Sense

Serjeant (Sjt) - Achieved once you've been observed to be able to handle leadership roles and maintain discipline within the line.
Corporal (Cpl) - Achieved once you've been observed to be able to handle minor leadership roles.

Guard (Grd) - Achieved through a melee skills assessment.
Regular (Rgl) - Achieved once you have participated in multiple events (1v1's/Linebattles) and have been observed to function well within the line.
Private First Class (Pfc) - Achieved on 3rd week of being in the regiment after a skills assessment.
Private (Pte) - Achieved once you've been in the regiment for a minimum of two weeks and attended at least 50% of our practices within those two weeks.
Volunteer/Recruit (Vol/Rct) - Recruit = Someone we meet probably in game who we 'recruit into the regiment', Volunteer = Someone who applies to join the regiment. Trial Rank.

1) Like I said before, I don't consider it official because it was never explicitly stated by Cheesypants that he wanted it to be official, and the lack of a 3rd party referee reinforced the impression on me that it was just a fun skirmish between 2 regiments. Hence why its not on the record. If 2 regiments do an official match I (and many other regimental leaders) believe, a 3rd party ref that both Colonels (or commanding officers) agree on is a necessity, as is an explicit statement by at least one of the Colonel's to the other that they desire it to be for the record. If neither of those things were necessary, our multiple matches against, the 8th, the 4th, the 58e, the 45e and the 53e would all be on the list as well.

2)I only (currently) record "Competitive Wins/Losses" a.k.a a win or loss that occurred during a regimental competition (TNWL/NANWL maybe NARGL if we sign up for it), which is what the list is for. Once we actually start doing non-competitive official matches, a separate list for that (official wins/losses) will be created, if the 71st wish to schedule an official match with 16th Coldstream once I'm done reconstructing, and we begin doing official matches, I'll be happy to oblige  .
