Hello, I don't know if is it mentioned elsewhere within the thread, but the file which the skins are saved under, have custom names which means that they do not work or overwrite the skins they are intending to replace. I am sure with hours of looking as (I am not well versed in skinning) I could find what the name is to each and then rename the skin files so that they work properly, but if anyone else who is better at this could go through and rename them for me I would be very grateful. The skins I am trying to use are the Legion Polski Posiłkowy Lombardii - Polish Auxiliary Legion in Lombardia, and Bulgarski Chetnici - Bulgarian rebels during April Uprising. Thank you in advanced! Great work on the skins.

Frankly, I'm not sure what you're talking about. It's obvious that skins overwrite original uniforms which they're supposed to replace. That's why I've written that they "replace" other unit. Do I guess correctly, that you were talking about fact, that my skins replace original NW brf files? Of course it would be possible to make new skins leave original brf files untouched and edit just txt files. But such option would limit player to have only one skins installed (while now it's possible to have one skin for each faction) and would give absolutely no profit over the way in which I've modified brf files. Of course if you're talking about something else, then please exlain it once more and I'll try to help you.

You have your skins named under their custom skin. To overwrite the original skin they have to be named the same as those. I tried installing them and they would not work because they were not overwriting the files correctly. That's what I meant. It would take me forever to find the original names and rename your skin files to match. What I needed is a download with the skins named the same as the original files so that they will show up ingame for me.

No, no, no... skins are working fine (or at least were working for over two years). You need to copy all files to your NW directory and allow windows to replace all files. I guess now, that you're talking about names of dds files, which are in fact different than original NW textures' names. But there are also brf and txt files which make game use my files instead of original NW ones. You don't have to rename anything. Just download whole archive of skin you want from Google Drive and copy it's content to NW directory (from resource folder to resource folder, from textures folder to textures folder, etc). They just have to work, there's no other option if you're doing everything correctly.

I gave it another try but still the skins are not working for me. I did as you said and when I got ingame, there were no skins. Do you know the name of the original skins so I can manually change them to get them to work?

There is no way to manually change names of textures and expect them to work. That's just not how it works. To make skins work you need both dds and brf files. Files which you want to rename are just dds files. They're textures which are useless without models included in brf files. Only way to install skins are to exactly follow instructions from my posts (I've just tried them and they're working fine). You clearly did something wrong if they're not working for you, but it means I cannot help you, as I cannot install them from you ;)

You think that they are not working because I am running the NW enhancement pack? I know it has a few of your skins already in it such as the Cherogovski regiment.

Oh, it's quite possible that Enhancement Pack is the problem. I don't know it's structure, but it may be, that it changes some txt files and thus change brf files from which game takes models. It's not a good idea to install new skins over such a big modification as EP. I'd suggest to remove EP and then try to install my skins once more, they should work fine then.

The only way, is to use the openBRF program to make reskin A and reskin B 'compatible' with each other.
Raddeo shows a in-depth guide how to do this for any two reskins or more at the bottom of his first post, 1st page of this thread with the spoiler bar clickable for short tutorial.

Hello.. I have a problem... It says I don't have Mount&Blade Warband: Napoleonic War and I have to buy it
Try joining a regular Napoleonic Wars server and then re-running the installer.

I have a slight problem. With the Bulgarski Chetnici, the backside of the pants are overwritten by the preobrazky pants. Any fix?
