For those saying the result didn't matter, the following rounds were all but thrown because of that BS round. Morale got crappy after we didn't get the reset.

No, it doesn't. It boils down to a referee making a mistake and the offended regiment not being able to offer a solid argument as to how it cost them the round. It's a regrettable mistake, but so far I've seen no evidence that Pancakesjr would have altered the outcome of the round, so resetting wouldn't have been fair to the 58e.
Morale is a terrible argument, no one forced you guys to go full retard in the following rounds, that's on you guys.
JackieChan (58e), Maccle (75th), Swerp (75th), Chriseh (75th), were all previously not on the rosters of the regiments they played for, however as they hadn't played for any regiments in the tournament beforehand, they were essentially treated as new recruits and not transfers, which allowed all four of them to play. NickCole I think actually did play for the 2eChef's now that I think about it and could've been sat out.
