Introduction

After the last tournament, I thought about creating a "some" balance for all existing teams, so that it would be possible to put all teams under a single frame, so that everyone would be honest and there would be no drama, misunderstandings, insults and other "remorse" after the tournament. I would like to hold a tournament where the only main rule would be - The ban on players from any national teams, any years. In my opinion: this will balance the chances of the teams, and will allow players who have never been to the national teams to prove themselves. In my opinion: this will save you from subsequent conflicts, showdowns and quarrels between players about the balance and players who were not allowed to the tournament, because of their level of play.

Tournament start date: 10th September , 21.30 CET
Deadline for registration : 10th September , 20.00 CET

Rules

General rules :

1.The tournament will be played in two stages: first the group stage, then the single-elimination play-off stage.
2.Line Infantry Only.
3.Melee speed medium.
4.Group stage matches ft5, semi finals ft7, finals and bronze match ft10.
5.Roster limit is set to 8 players per team.
6.Once called, teams have 5 mins to attend match arena.
7.If a round is not started within 5 minutes, the waiting team may be awarded a round.
8.In case of a server crash/map change if it is to happen, then all current rounds will be void.
9.Only community names are allowed.
10.Good sportsmanship and behaviour expected at all times.
11.Referees may take action to punish offenders and their decisions are final.
12.Players from national teams of any years cannot take part in the tournament.
13.It is forbidden to use a glitch with a teleport.

Welcome to the official tournament for beginner and novice teams. The European Groupfight Series ended quite a while ago, and I decided while the NWWC tournament was going on, we could make a tournament for low and intermediate level players. This will be my first tournament that I am going to hold, so I would be sincerely grateful for any help in organizing and running the event. Below I will leave my contacts on Steam for anyone who would like to help with organizing it. I would like to have at least 10 to 15 Second and Third level teams participate in the tournament, including teams from the previous EGS Second League. The tournament will have a group stage format, followed by a Double-Elemination format. If you and your team are interested to try yourself and take part - there will be a registration form at the bottom. By making this tournament, I would like to make a competition, a battle, a battle where they can face the same beginners and not particularly experienced enemies like themselves - in a friendly atmosphere. I would be very happy if the tournament would take part from 10 to 15 teams of six people each, but it could be more. I am sure that the game is much more teams of beginners and low level, who want to develop, to try themselves and to face the same equal in strength enemies. Roster Rules § 1.1 Roster limit is set to 8* players per team. § 1.2 Players MUST sign up with their community names in addition to roleplay names. Both MUST be specified. § 1.3Roster edit deadline (basically addition of roleplay names, team name and providing IDs) is set at 10:00pm (22:00) BST at day before the tournament (22th of May). After that, not a single change will be allowed. [close]

General Rules § 2.1 Melee speed will be set on medium. § 2.2 Players must use the line infantry class. § 2.3 You aren't allowed to spawn if your team does not play. § 2.4 All matches will be ft5, apart from the quarter-finals and semi-finals (ft7) and the finals (ft10). § 2.5 Good behavior is expected. Insulting/toxicity will lead to 1 warning and then a suspension from matches.. § 2.6 ID MUST be provided. Players with IDs missing won't be allowed to play. § 2.7 Below , I will provide a list of exceptions for players who can participate. [close]

Match Rules § 3.1 Once a match has been called, each team has ~5 minutes to get ready. § 3.2 Once typed 'r' and the referee has said 'go', the round CAN NOT be voided. § 3.3 In any case of a server crash/map change if it is to happen, then all current rounds WILL be VOIDED. § 3.4If a round is not started within 5 minutes, the responsible team will be punished and 1 round will be awarded to their opponents. Groupfighting Teams / DIAMONDS Groupfighting team

History
The "Diamonds" team dates back to ancient times. The team that today is called Diamonds, Gems, and Expensive Minerals was not always called that. The team has changed its name, players, line-up many times, sometimes even the captain.
From the very beginning it was October - November 2017, when I got the idea to create a Russian-speaking Haidamaks team, after that time a lot of things have changed, the team has developed and fell several times.
But now are new times. After the NWWC tournament, the team will rebuild again after many restarts, re-creation and so on.
It is worth mentioning that Haidamaks is not the only name for the team. The only and most important thing that changed in the teams is the names and nicknames, because the lineups of the players and, most importantly, the captain, have remained indispensable since 2017.
Team Diamonds (formerly Haidamaks), formerly called as: Slavics, Knyaz, SithLords, Once even we played with the name of Teletubbies.
Now We are back, but in a slightly different guise, in a slightly different composition, in a slightly different form. As before, we have only one goal: to show and prove that the Russian community does not rot, but develops and can fight back and even play on an equal footing with other teams, the team was created and has the goal of showing and proving to others that in every Russian-speaking regiment , there are talented players who are able to develop and be better than before.

Groupfighting Teams / Haidamaks GF TEAM | 2016 - . . .

Before touching on the Haidamaks groupfight History, it should be mentioned that it came from the regiment that existed in 2016 - Gaidamaks. After all, it was from this small regiment that the history of the glorious Ukrainian team began. Gaidamaks as a regiment was created back in 2014 on the pirate client of the game, and ceased to exist in 2016. After that, most of the players were left without a regiment, but the desire to continue playing remained. All the command, officers, and heads of the regiment resigned, then Bodya (then known as XBOCT) appeared, who created a team for people who needed battles and matches to continue the regiment’s business, and to develop its people and composition. So the Haidamaks team was created in the 2016th year, but then it was still not a professional team, and included only old fellow soldiers, friends, and military twin cities from different regiments. Everything specifically changed in the middle of the 2016th regiment, after which Haidamaks, as a fun groupfight team for a good time with friends, turned into a professional team of a non-fan level. After this “key” transitional moment, the team led by Bodya included in their goals to demonstrate to Europe and the European regiments and teams that there are strong players in the CIS space who are ready to compete with English-speaking players. Haidamaks GF TEAM should have demonstrated that strong players, including Ukrainians, remained in the old post-Soviet space. The team planned to prove and show the entire community of the game that the Ukrainian players are not weak, ready to compete on an equal footing with other teams, and that the CIS region can repel other teams in the form of Khaidamaks. In 2017-2018, the team was going through hard times: many players went to other teams, they were picked up by their teams, or just the players left the game like all of us, sooner or later. The team took 2 - 3 breaks between seasons (Autumn - Summer), but always returned. So, the team in one season of 2018 played about 102 matches, of which about 55+ were victorious. The team itself for all four years was one of the strongest teams in the Russian-speaking region, second only to the CCCP team. Despite this, Khaidamaki as such rarely participated in tournaments and won prizes there, but other teams and regiments won in training and friendly matches. Every day, the team trained hard and played for 3-4 years, playing 2-3 matches a day, despite the fact that the composition of the team changed from day to day. So, one way or another, the team survived from 2016 to 2019, having come a long way and moving on, despite everything.
